As we consume matcha as a whole leaf in powder form, the terroir and the surrounding atmosphere of where the green tea trees are cultivated play a big role in the development of théanine of the leaves which gives that delicate and umami taste we look for in matcha.
For that matter Yvse works directly with the farmer that are true to these notions, taking care of the whole process to make sure they can obtain the best and the most unique taste that comes from each region. This time around, the origin of the matcha is from jeju island in south korea.
Jeju is a proud product coming straight from the southern most part of South Korea. Being a volcanic island with pure marine air and high altitude, the green tea trees are no longer exposed to pollution or harsh sunlight, unlike inland green tea farms.
Geonum oreum, a unesco world natural heritage site of 8 volcanic hills surround 19 acres farm mixed with different green tea trees, protecting direct sunlight and airflow while building an ecosystem of different flowers giving unique taste and fragrance to this amazing matcha.

Matcha Base.
1. Put the whisk in lukewarm water to loosen.
*Use YVSE stand to keep the wisk in shape.
2. Use 1,5 - 2 gr of matcha for making latte of 200-250 ml
*Use YVSE bamboo spoon
3. Add 50 ml of lukewarm water no hotter than 72°C
4. Mix the matcha well with water first
5.Then in fast zigzag motion, mix thoroughly creating microfoams to create a perfect matcha base
