Service & Returns

CDS AUTOMATES is committed to a high level of customer satisfaction. However, we cannot completely eliminate defects and complaints. Therefore, we have developed a warranty system that allows us to exceed your satisfaction. Please note that certain conditions must be met for this coverage to be effective.

The legal warranty period, as provided in articles 1641 to 1649 of the Civil Code, is fully applicable to this agreement. Each buyer therefore has the right to repair or replace the delivered products if he discovers a defect in the delivered products, provided that the conditions of the legal warranty are met. The consumer also benefits from a two (2) year legal warranty (Article 1649bis - 1649quinquies of the Belgian Civil Code). There is no warranty if the buyer was aware of the defects at the time of the sale.

If the product is visibly defective and the recipient perceives this defect, he must make a claim. The buyer must notify CDS AUTOMATES of these complaints in writing and in an explicit, unambiguous and reasoned manner. This must be done within fourteen (14) calendar days after delivery.

The product must be returned in its original condition, including packaging, accessories and documentation, and always accompanied by the original invoice or a valid proof of payment. Returning an order is always at the buyer's risk. This return must take place within fourteen (14) calendar days after confirmation by CDS AUTOMATES.

CDS AUTOMATES has its own technical department. In case of a breakdown or malfunction, the customer can first call or email our technical department through our contact page to get advice that can help to solve the problem. (Free service, excluding communication costs)

1. IN WARRANTY (2 YEARS)

If no solution was found by email or phone, please submit a return request with a copy of your purchase invoice via our contact/mail/email page. Upon confirmation from us, you may send your defective item to us. We are not responsible for any damage caused while returning the equipment.

After receiving the item, the equipment will be examined by our technical department. If there is indeed a defect, the full repair will be at our expense. The repair will be carried out within 10 to 30 working days after receiving the equipment. The cost of returning your equipment will be at our expense.

  • transportation costs
THE 2-YEAR PARTS AND LABOR WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO;
  • consumables (anti-scaling cartridge, seal, showerttes, grinding wheel, batteries,....)
  • damage caused by normal wear and tear
  • exposure to moisture, fire, earthquakes or other external causes
  • fall of the equipment
  • interruptions occurring as a result of any - even minor - transformation or modification of the equipment
  • any technical intervention by a person not authorized by our company
  • use not in accordance with the instructions and information provided
  • errors in operation
  • lack of maintenance and its consequences (limestone,...)

    If the equipment is unfortunately not covered by warranty after inspection, please refer to the "non-guaranteed equipment" article below.

2. NON-GUARANTEED EQUIPMENT

If no solution was found by email or phone, please submit a return request with a copy of your purchase invoice via our contact/mail/email page. Upon confirmation from us, you can send your defective item to us. We are not responsible for any damage caused while returning the equipment.

After receiving the item, the equipment will be examined by our technical department. A quotation with the cost of repairing the equipment will be sent to you within 10 working days. The repair will be carried out within 10 to 30 working days from the date of the quotation confirmation and after payment.

If you refuse the quote, you will be charged €50.00 including VAT for the quote cost unless you decide to make a new purchase on our website worth the quote cost. You will have 10 business days to collect your equipment or request to have your equipment returned at your expense.

PRICE OF TECHNICAL SERVICE (INCLUDING ALL TAXES)

Repair cost: According to estimate after inspection of equipment

Travel expenses for breakdown assistance at Domicile Express only in Belgium: (Starting point according to the address of CDS Automaten)

  • Zone 1 - 0 to 20 km: € 49.00 excl.
  • Zone 2 - 20 to 50 km: € 68.00 excl.
  • Zone 3 - 50 to 70 km: € 89.00 excl.
  • Zone 4 - 70 to 100 km: € 109.00 excl.
  • Zone 5 - BXL/100 to 150 km: € 135.00 excl.
  • Zone 6 - +150 km: € 160.00 excl.

Our rates for work in control:

  • first 30 minutes: € 49.00 excl. VAT
  • per additional 10 minutes: € 10.00 excl. VAT

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Any Consumer may exercise his right of withdrawal if the following conditions are met, in accordance with Article VI.47 of the Belgian Economic Code. The right of withdrawal allows the Consumer to cancel the contract without giving reasons or costs if he is not satisfied with the product after delivery. The Consumer must exercise his right of withdrawal within fourteen (14) calendar days from the day following the delivery of the product.

In accordance with Article VI.53 of the Code of Economic Legislation, consumers cannot exercise their right of withdrawal in the following cases:

  • service contracts after full performance of the service
  • if the performance has begun with the express prior consent of the consumer and with the recognition that he loses his right of withdrawal when the contract has been fully performed by the merchant (Article VI.53.1°)
  • upon delivery of goods that are liable to deteriorate or age rapidly (Article VI.53.4°)
  • upon delivery of sealed goods which do not lend themselves to return for reasons of health protection or hygiene and which are not sealed after delivery (Article VI.53.5°)
  • when the delivered goods are by nature inseparably mixed with other goods after delivery (Article VI.53.6°)
  • contracts where the consumer has expressly requested the entrepreneur to carry out urgent repairs or maintenance
  • upon delivery of sealed audio or video recordings or computer software that are unsealed after delivery (art. VI.53.9°)
  • upon delivery of a newspaper or magazine (art. VI.53.10°)
  • upon delivery of digital content that is not delivered on a tangible medium if the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgment that he loses his right of withdrawal (Article VI.53.13°)

The Consumer must return the products to CDS AUTOMATES as soon as he has exercised his right of withdrawal and in any case within fourteen (14) calendar days after the notification. The return can only be done by an authorized carrier. In all cases, the consumer shall bear all costs and risks of remand. If the consumer exercises his right of withdrawal in accordance with the above conditions, CDS AUTOMATES will guarantee the refund of the amount actually paid for the product.

The refund will be made by the same payment method you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. Any price reduction resulting from a promotional code, discount code or voucher will be proportionally refunded in the form of a credit to the Buyer, provided that the promotional or discount terms expressly permit this.
