There is a standard double coffee spout on the filter carrier. When you make one cup of coffee you put the espresso cup exactly in the middle. There are 5 filters supplied as standard. A 1 cup and a 2 cup filter for espresso and a 1 cup and a 2 cup supercrema filter for 'regular coffee'. These filters ensure that you can still get a cream layer on your coffee with coarser ground coffee. And finally a filter for ESE servings.
