ACAIA Pyxis scale

An ultra-compact and very accurate scale The Pyxis is the most compact scale of the Acaia brand, but also the most accurate in the catalogue to date.
This top-of-the-range espresso scale will easily fit under the spouts of any espresso machine.
The Acaia Pyxis scale can handle weights as light as a feather - from 0.01 grams - and measure up to 500 grams. At 6.5 cm x 6.5 cm, the Pyxis is one of the smallest precision scales in the world. It weighs only 70 grams, which is very convenient for travel.

ACAIA Pyxis scale modes

The Pyxis has three different modes:

Mode 1 - Weighing: the scale displays only the weight in grams or ounces.

Mode 2 - Dual display: the scale displays the time on the left and the weight on the right.

Mode 3 - Auto Start: designed for the barista who wants to measure the extraction time from the first drops of espresso. When a stable weight is detected, the scale automatically calculates the tare. Once the scale detects the coffee in the cup, the timer starts. The timer stops when the espresso flow is interrupted.
