VST Precision filter baskets in a capacity of 15, 18, 20 and 22 grams. Official 2012 & 2013 Barista World Championship. Selected by the USBC & UKBC for 2013 Regional & National Competitions (20 gram pointless) Characteristics: VST precision filters deliver consistent extraction performance over a wide concentration range with less sediment. Designed to extract well as a ristretto, a normal or a lungo with minimal or no change in grind level at a fixed dosage. The filters are matched to a total square area of +/- 5% to ensure identical performance. (Typical variances of standard filters vary from 50-200% of the nominal open square area) On all VST filters 1 year warranty on DEFECTS. The micro openings are manufactured using a new micro machine and finishing process. 100% of the holes are measured on each filter for min. /max area and diameter range limits with an accuracy of +/- 20 µm. (Individual QC report is supplied with each filter) All holes are measured for roundness, placement, square area and blocked holes The hole pattern is centered up to +/- 1.0 mm and the placement is oriented for even suction over the entire puck. The anti-wear design ensures uniform performance over the life of the product. Improved structural integrity, resistant to pumping cycle deflection without premature fatigue failure.

Compatibility

15g, 18g & 20g Fits most Nuova Simonelli, Victoria Arduino, La Marzocco, Synesso, Faema, La Cimbali, Rancilio with standard portafilters. 15g & 18g Fits standard Gaggia portafilters, for 20g & 22g you will require a bottomless portafilter. 22g Fits all La Marzocco and Synesso and most Nuova Simonelli models using their standard portafilters. Faema, La Cimbali, Rancilio require a bottomless portafilter. 18g, 20g and 22g Compatible with the La Marzocco SWIFT Grinder. Each VST filter is serialized with a unique 2-D code to ensure authenticity and performance. Each unique 2-D code references stored factory measurement, quality reports and image data. Measurements stored in VST database for all filters, summary quality report included w/each filter. Each filter is graded and warranted to perform identically to similar grades. Double packs of baskets that are engineered to be completely identical are available for 18g Ridged and 22g Ridged.
